Tiffany White is the Founder and CEO of TNW Consulting. The firm provides career development coaching and training for youth, college students, and adults. She is an Adjunct Professor and Career Advisor in the Stuart School of Business at the Illinois Institute of Technology in Chicago, IL and teaches career development courses for graduate students.and advises domestic and international undergraduate and graduate students. Tiffany is a Career Specialist with CareerFoundry and coaches UX/UI, Data Analyst, and Full Stack Developer students. She has also been an Adjunct Professor at DePaul University in Chicago, IL and taught career courses for undergraduate students at the university. Throughout her career, she has exhibited a passion and niche for connecting with the youth and prides herself on being able to connect with the millennial population and empower them to land their dream job..
In addition to the roles previously mentioned, Tiffany is the President of the Ted Rhodes Foundation, which is a non-profit 501 (c) 3 corporation incorporated in Tennessee and Illinois. The foundation is named after her grandfather/golf pioneer and the first African-American to play golf in the Professional Golf Association (PGA). Tiger Woods mentioned Ted Rhodes as one of the pioneers who paved the way for him to play golf when he won the Masters golf tournament in 1997. Ted Rhodes was granted posthumous membership into the PGA, inducted into the Tennessee Golf Hall of Fame and Tennessee Sports Hall of fame. Lastly, there is a golf course that bears his name in Nashville, Tennessee.
The foundation’s mission is to provide opportunities for young people in the urban areas attending public schools to play the game of golf and expose more people of color to the game. Tiffany and her mom, Peggy Rhodes-White, are dedicated to keeping his legacy alive by hosting youth and adult golf tournaments and golf clinics. Also, the foundation provides financial support to the Historically Black Colleges and Universities (HBCU) golf teams and has built a great relationship with Fisk University in Nashville, TN. As well as, the First Tee of Lake County and First Tee of Greater Tennessee,, First Tee of Greater Chicago, First Tee of Jacksonville.
Tiffany has a diversified professional background with significant experience in the corporate and public sectors. She spent 18 years working in the financial services industry at JPMorgan Chase & Co., the largest bank in the United States. Her financial services experience includes campus recruiting, diversity recruiting, experienced hire recruiting, training, and talent development and management. She has held the following roles Campus Recruiter - Commercial Banking & Asset & Wealth Management, Campus Recruiting Manager- Commercial Banking, Campus Recruiting Director - Commercial Banking and Consumer & Community Banking, Head of Diversity Recruiting - Commercial Banking. Also, she spent 4 years working in the non-profit sector at Chicago Public Schools (CPS) and was a Talent Acquisition Manager and Director of Recruiting and Training. Her education experience includes teacher recruiting, experienced hiring recruiting, diversity recruiting, and training. In both sectors, she managed the diversity partnerships and Historically Black Colleges and Universities (HBCU) relationships.
Tiffany is a Chicago native and a product of the Chicago Public School system. She graduated from HBCU School Clark Atlanta University in Atlanta, Georgia with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Business Management and Southern Illinois University in Carbondale, Illinois with a Master of Science degree in Workforce Education and Development. She is an active member of Toastmaster’s International and received the highest designation of Distinguished Toastmaster (DTM).
Lastly, Tiffany is a life member of Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Incorporated and member of Xi Nu Omega chapter in Chicago, IL. She is also a member of the Clark Atlanta University and Southern Illinois University alumni associations. She serves as the President of the Christ Universal Temple Board of Directors. Previously, she served on the Clark Atlanta University CEO Academy Board, DePaul University Employer Advisory Board, and Indiana University Employer Advisory Board.
